A
Spiritual Mind Treatment (prayer) for
"Contentment"
As the Christmas holiday season approaches, I recognize the Christ-consciousness present in every person and every situation. I feel the joy and peace of sharing gifts of heart, precious offerings of love between friends and families, each a giver and a receiver. The blessing is in the gratitude recognized for that connection. The contentment is experienced in the exchange of gentle and loving energy.
I am part of that energy, a participant in the exchange of a growing Christ-consciousness in the world. Divine Love is my birthright. I am a child of God and so are all the beautiful souls surrounding me in this generous experience of life. We are made from the same God-spark and connect deeply in our Oneness each time we look in another’s eyes, hold hands, or pray in solitude.
This knowing brings joy and contentment to my heart and mind as I breathe in the eternal now of Spirit. I trust with absolute confidence the perfect unfolding of my life and those around me. There is only love and peace, filling up my soul, expanding my heart space, and seeding my mind with pearls of joy. All I do is done with grace and ease, with compassion and kindness, and thoughts of abundant Good.
I am filled with gratitude …for being an individualized expression of God …for having the power to recognize and choose in each moment …for knowing the Law of Creation works unceasingly according to my belief …for experiencing life to the fullest …and feeling great love and contentment in this moment.
So I release these words to Law, to Spirit, to Principle, knowing they cannot return to me void. I know there is a Power in the Universe that is mine to use. Even before I speak, this Law acts on these thoughts to create for my highest and best good in all matters and experiences.
And so it is!
I'm what folks call "bi-vocational" in that my work efforts span multiple dimensions.
Currently I am seeking contract work or temporary positions south of the Denver metro area either as an Executive Assistant or as a Marketing and/or Communications support professional. I'm quite skilled in such support positions and have extensive experience in both areas - a great combination! Contact me if you know of an open position that might be a good match.
I am also the Senior Minister and Educational Director at Parker Community Church of Religious Science (Colorado). This role challenges and fulfills me in so many ways, utilizing all of life's skills and allowing me to grow as a person.
I invite you to visit any Sunday morning, listen to audio sermons on the church website, or join us for spiritually-focused workshops and educational experiences.
Visit http://www.ParkerCCRS.org for more information about the Science of Mind philosophy and our Spiritual community. Come and see!
